About Encore Cases
Experience speaks volumes. At Encore Cases, our skilled case engineers have designed and built reusable shipping and carrying cases compliant to Air Transport Association Spec 300 Category 1. We only source high-quality materials and we pride ourselves on design, innovation and customization.
We’ve always set out to realize the customer’s wishes in wood, metal, laminate and foam, to protect whatever they wanted to protect. Any company can work with those same items, but here at Encore A&S, you’re working with people who have a combined total of more than 100 years in the case design business. You simply can’t get that anywhere else.
We are, in the best sense of the word, a “custom house.” You want a safe built into your workbox? We can do that. You want your logo engraved in the sides of your cases? We can do that, too. Just let your imagination run wild and allow us to show you what we can do. We even have in-house metal fabricating capabilities, something no other case company can offer.

Unprecedented Quality
We stand behind what we build, and we’re here for you if a problem ever arises!
You’d be hard pressed to find an example of a case we haven’t built. We’re truly capable of creating anything you could imagine in a case. We don’t make dozens of amp cases or work boxes in one size, to pull off the shelf when you call. Everything we do is built for you, the customer, and made to your exact specifications.

All our cases are designed to provide maximum protection and ease of use, and that’s true for our musical instrument cases, as well. Cases can be ordered with casters and telescoping handles, making your case no more difficult to transport than a piece of roll-on luggage.
Your specially designed music case can be used solely for storage and transportation, or you can specify an upgraded velvet or felt lining, so the case can double as an onstage instrument stand or display case. As with any of our cases, colors and design options are limited only by your imagination.
Rack Cases
There are many hazards your audio equipment can face on the road. Physical shock from drops or bumps, electrostatic discharge and overheating are just a few. Fortunately, Encore A&S has engineered solutions to these and other problems you might encounter while touring.
To deal with physical shock, we offer our shock mount cases. They feature the same industrial grade materials as our standard cases, with the addition of a 2” layer of shock-absorbing foam between the interior ½” plywood shell and the outer wall. Road-tested and engineered to withstand the toughest conditions, Encore A&S’s shock mount cases will keep your most delicate equipment safe and secure.
Electrostatic discharge can be avoided by first touching the metal frame of your case before touching your equipment. Developing this simple habit will protect your rack-mounted electronics from damage by static discharge.
Overheating is the most common type of damage that happens to rack mounted equipment, and there are three possible causes. First, the electronics might have been able to fit into the rack, but they were packed so tight that no space was available for air circulation to help cool the equipment.
Second, no venting was specified when the case was built. Third, no fans were installed to keep air moving whenever the case’s electronics were in use.
You won’t have this problem with one of our cases. Made to measure for your equipment, you’ll have adequate space within the rack for air to circulate. We’ll also put vents in the case to help with air movement and install fans to keep air circulating. Those three steps, taken together, will keep your electronics from overheating.
Production Cases
The term “Production cases” embodies a variety of types, from wardrobe cases to workboxes, lighting cases, camera cases and a number of specialty cases.
With over 100 years of combined case design and building experience in our front-of-house team, we can create literally anything your mind can conceive. Our 20,000 square foot workshop employs world-class craftspeople with decades of expertise, ensuring you get exactly what you want, exactly when you want it.
In our 40+ years in this business, we’ve never missed a delivery deadline for a case. Yours will get the same attention to detail and timely construction.
Whatever the size or shape of your production case, it will have all the hallmarks of an Encore A&S Case: tough-as-nails construction, durable laminate covering, a choice of foam or carpet lining to safeguard its contents, protective flat or ball corners, and recessed handles and latches. Options include telescoping handles, wheels, wheel wells on case tops to enable cases to be stacked, and so much more.
Trunk Road Case
Encore A&S Cases has engineered a series of truck pack trunks, known in the industry as “Cadillac cases.” These boxes have a unique 240 degree flip-over lid allowing loading from all four sides, making packing of cables and other utility items faster and more convenient. The latches also have a special design that lets them fold down into the extra long dish, flush with the exterior, removing the hazard of “case cactus.”
The trunks are made of ½” or ¾” true European birch plywood, and come in two basic sizes, depending on your tour trucks. Truck pack size is for a 90” wide truck. The case is 44½”x30x36 (including 4” heavy duty polyethylene/cast iron wheels with roller bearings), with a load capacity of 700 pounds.
Semi-truck pack trunks are built to fit three across in a 96” wide truck. These cases offer all the same features as the truck pack trunks, the only difference being size. These trunks are 45x30x30, including wheels.
If you’re ready to take a tour out on the road, ordering some of these trunks will make loading and unloading all your cables and utility gear easier and faster. They’ll do the same thing for loading and unloading your trucks. Your roadies will thank you for that.
Magic Road Case
Before realizing his abilities as a case builder, Gary Peterson’s first love was magic. So it’s no surprise that Encore has become the go-to case company for magicians, illusionists, and magic builders around the world. Along with the expert engineering and high-quality materials that are standard with everything Encore builds, a great wealth of magic knowledge also goes into every case design..
At Encore, we know magic, and all of the interesting challenges it can create. In other words, you won’t have to spend hours explaining the importance of keeping your splicer illusion from tipping over in its case, or a mirror from shattering, or your deceptive steps from rolling around in their case and bumping into other props. We get it. And you also won’t have to worry about your secrets being exposed. We get that too, and all Encore employees are trained to respect the confidentiality of all magic secrets.
We do more than just cases. If you’re looking for a convenient and sturdy table, designed by a magician, for magicians, be sure to check out our store. You’ll find our incredibly lightweight suitcase table for sale. It’s black with chrome trim, on smooth-rolling casters, and weighs less than any other suitcase table on the market. You’ll love it
Flat Screen TV Cases
Flat screens – whether they’re plasma, LCD, or LED – are the digital display of choice for a broad range of industries. Given their delicate nature, they also require uniquely designed cases specifically engineered to protect the sensitive components from harm. Encore’s flat screen cases do exactly that.
Our flat screen cases have been designed to stay upright, roll with ease, and keep your TV or monitor safe. On the interior, varying densities of foam work together to keep the typical jolts and bumps on the road from causing any cracks, scratches, or other damage. And on the exterior, the heavy duty ATA-rated components further guarantee the ultimate protection for your equipment.
Don’t take any chances when traveling with your expensive flat screens. Protect them with Encore Cases.
Lightweight Plastic Poly Cases
These lightweight and economically priced trunks are an ideal way to keep your oversize bodysuit character costumes safe and in photo-ready condition.
Besides ensuring your valuable costumes are protected from dust, vermin, and other harmful elements, these costume trunks also allow for stacking, which isn’t possible with traditional head stands. This frees up valuable space in costume storage rooms and warehouses, while keeping your characters organized and easily accessible.
Made of an extremely durable yet surprisingly lightweight poly material, and with added wheels, our character trunks are extremely easy for performers and production staff to transport throughout theme parks, special events, or wherever the costumes are to be used and need to be transported discreetly.
